the monday b4 last, during cell group, i rmmr huifang asking all of us this - if we truly believe that prayer is the way to revival, and yet we aren't praying enough, ask ourselves why we aren't doing so.

for me, it's that i lack discipline... jialing here's a lazy bum. and pretty distracted by things of the world too these days. there's like a million and one things to be doing, a million and one things competing for our attention. hais. i need a prayer buddy, or a quiet time buddy to bug me (n vice versa, so i bug that person as well) to do quiet time.

was thinking yesterday that i wanna pray for quite a number of people. so here goes, in no order of importance, and some without names cos might not be nice to name in some.

Dear God, i pray for those people still having exams, people like Annie, QinYing and Jason in particular, that you'll continue to sustain them through this tiring and stressful period. i pray that they will have peace in their hearts as they study, that they'll be able to focus and absorb whatever they're studying. help them to really concentrate and productive, and not to be easily distacted by other things. help to know when to take appropriate breaks as well. i thank you Lord for their faith in You, that they still honour You by coming for service and cell group. i pray that even through periods like these, they will grow in You, because they will learn to rely and depend on You. :)

Dear God, thank you for Clarissa. Thank you for blessing me with this friend in my life. Thank you that even though its been... like ten million years since i last had a proper heart to heart chat with her and/or met her to catch up, i know Lord that our friendship has its foundation in You, and that You'll watch over and guard this precious friendship. I thank you Lord, that during this exam period, she does not feel sian studying. I pray that for her remaining 2 papers, you'll continue to sustain her through. that she'll even enjoy what she's learning, and wont feel stressed, i pray that she'll know how to manage her time properly so as to finish studying everything. that somehow, in Your own special way, You'll help her to be aware of what are the more important things to study. and i thank you Lord for the fun i know we'll have when we finally meet up again... :)

Dear Lord, i pray for my dear friends who are spiritually dry at this point in their lives, or even just somewhat lost or feeling meaningless, or who just feel that they are backsliding. i dont know what to say, but Lord, i pray that you will refresh them. that You will give them a fresh touch of You, and revive them Lord... that whatever issues they may have and may be struggling with, Lord You will speak to them , give them an answer, and that they'll be assured once more of Your sovereignty, and be able to trust in You knowing You are in full control and that you have exciting plans for them... remind them Lord that You love them so very very much, and that You'll never leave or forsake them. Refresh them Lord... refresh these 3 friends of mine, the 3 friends i'm praying for in particular at this moment.

Dear Lord, i pray for Your continued protection over my dearest dearest brother, currently far far away in Grand Canyon... i pray that he'll be able to settle down and adapt to the environment there, and that he'll get along well with the people there as well as make new friends. At the same time Lord, i pray You guard his heart from negative, undesirable influences. I pray that He'll be able to find a church service there to attend, that he will even want to do so, even though he does not do so in Singapore. I pray that you just enlarge that God-shaped vacuum in him that all of us have, that he'll want to deepen his relationship with you, and to grow in You oh Lord... whatever problems that he may face there, i pray that You will help him to face anf overcome them. i pray for favour for him, favour by his employers, his superiors, the people he's serving on waiting on or whatever... that he will enjoy favour with all these people.

Dear Lord, i commit to You friends who do not know You and who have not accpeted You, in particular xiaohui, junyuan, cheryl, kah hua, and even my new ngee ann friend, kenedict. Lord i pray that create in them a desire to want to know You... i thank you for the openess of some of them towards finding out more about You... i pray that You touch their hearts and prepare them for that one day when they will feel compelled by the truth, and will accept you whole-heartedly into their lives as their saviour and friend. i pray Lord, that this special day be sooner rather than later. Lord i pray that You will just reveal yourself to them in special intimate ways, such that they cannot possible doubt that it is You Lord at work in their lives. i pray Lord that you remove whatever obstacles that are in their paths, preventing them from accepting You... or that You just address their concerns, whatever concerns they may have. i pray too, Lord, for the boldness to share with them about You, that i will know when are the appropriate times to share, and what to share as well. that i will be led by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, who will guide my lips. Thank you Father. Also, i pray that you will help me to be a betteer friend to them, that you will help me to live my life in such a way that they can see You in me, and will hence wanna get to know You for themselves as well...

Dear Lord, i thank You for seeing Wei Siong through his studies at Michigan. i thank You for the excellent results that he's graduatin with, and i thank You too, for the path you've prepared for him. as he heads back to Singapore, i pray You grant him journey mercy as well as a safe journey, and that he'll able to get enough rest and sleep well on the plane. Lord, i thank You for guarding and protecting our relationship all this while. i pray that You will continue to be at the centre of this relationship, holding the 2 of us together, that as a couple we will strive to honour You and obey Your ways, supporting and encouraging each other in You. i pray that you will work in his life, changing him so irrevcably that people around him, like his family, will notice the positive ways in which You have changed Him, and will hence be more open to You oh Lord...

ok, this roughly sums up my prayer list for now... actually there are still things and people i wanna pray for, but due to time constrains, i'll continue at a later time. gotta start preparing to go for service liaos!!! :)

it's sunday morning! :) got service later, hehe. and chinese tuition at 3 pm. i discovered to my horror yest during tuition, that my tutee's chinese exam is on wed 2nd May! that's like, a few days away, n he only just told me cos i was smart enough to ask! gosh. gave me a minor heart attack lor :P hehe. anyway, my tutee is a cute little boy (not that little actually, sec 2 already! he's tall n skinny/lanky. heh) i enjoy teaching him these days. :)

yest sat, had chinese tuition at 10.45 am, then went for dance from 1 - 3.30 pm, then went to meet josh at nlb. returned some books and borrowed more! 1 fiction book (fantasy actually. funny, feels like ages since i last read a proper fiction book just because. have i been that busy?!? haha) and erm, 3 ECH books. i've been borrowing n borrowing lots of ECH books, though i havent gotten round to reading them... oops... haha. anyway, helped josh choose his new specs frame for army re-service, then we went walking around... rather, we went to look for food. haha. ate at marina square food court, i tried claypot gong bao rice!!! :) dunno why, every time i see claypot stuff i rmmr fifififififif :) cos i think there was once i met up with her for a meal n she ate that. n it looked nice. so yesterday, i finally satisfied my craving for claypot rice! hehe :) oh actually, my school canteen sells that too... i will go try one day :) anyway, the highlght of meeting joshjosh yest was... the super interesting conversation we had. muahahahaha. SUPER interesting ok. firstly, i finally learnt about his whole long love life story... also learnt that he's had a few, erm, very interesting experiences... oh man, hilarious :) my buddy here 魅力 wu fa dang ok... anyway, it will be interesting to watch n note what kind of girl my buddy here will get attached to in future... hehe... :) and now i know how come sometimes i see him online, but he hardly comes to talk to ME... cos he's busy chatting with other pple la... muahaha :D

had coffee (espresso ice blended with vanilla) at gloria jean's with josh, after which we were feeling super full and so went walking again... ended up at fullerton hotel, my fave hang out with my boyboy :) can't wait to visit that place with my boy again :) continued chatting till like 10.35pm there, then finally went home. nice day! oh yes, i was very 不要脸 cos i asked him some very starighforward questions... about me... muahaha... sorry la, me here pretty curious about what type of girls guys find pretty and/or attractive ma. :P

had another interesting conversation with yippy later at night. hur hur. its very interesting to hear stories about guy friends' love lives... :P

finally went to bed at close to 2am. started reading my fantasy fiction book at 1 + am... *guilty look* i must not fall asleep in church today, i must not fall asleep in church today, i must NOT fall asleep in church today!!!

yay! my lessons for the day (friday) has officially ended... was kinda dreading the lesson cos its supposed to be like 3 hours (jialing doesnt like long lessons!) but it has now ended after 2 hours, so YAY! :) unfortunately, its raining :( it keeps raining these days... bad bad... bad weather... our reservoirs had better be filling up man!

some of my classmates behind me r watching youtube... muahaha :P oh yes this lesson was quite cool. cos we're supposed to bring laptops, then at the start of the lesson, we were all msn-ing, n i was listening to music! :) and from there we were like talking abt CLASS OUTING! hoho :) they're saying wanna go watch movie on monday... cos our monday lesson is changed to wed. hee :P and this guy (1 out of 2 guys in my class) was saying let's go KTV! and so i was happily telling them about ten dollar club. ~GRIN~ i think ten dollar club should give me commission man... i think i bring them a lot of business!

so anyway, from the above u can surmise that i'm quite happy in my class :) my classmates are nice pple! and i feel comfy with them :) and i like what i'm studying too. and there r interesting ccas to participate in. so. i like ngee ann! i'm a happy girl! :D

oh yes... shuen called me that day when i was in school! was kinda a surprise, cos wasnt expecting her to be calling me anytime soon. having just spoken toher on sat when cheryl kh n i met up. had a nice nice heart to heart chat with her :)

had a nice night out yesterday with the guys! haha. zhiyang, gordan n yengyong. (dunno how to spell his name lah. let's just call him yy. heh) only got to know yy recently, on zhiyang's 21st actually... but not bad can kind of click, and talk laugh joke together. 4 of us just nice can play bridge together one day... hehe. anyway, met them yest night to go eat snails! yes SNAILS - otherwise known as escargots, a french cuisine. tasted like mussels in butter garlic sauce to me. guess i wouldnt specially go eat it again, unless i bring weisiong there to try or something. there refers to this french restaurant in bugis! the street where there's a kim's hokkien mee... and btw, i think that street is really really nice! kinda reminiscent of hong kong streets, as zhiyang commented. got lots of very interesting eateries there. i must really bring weisiong there to explore!!! *excited*

so, we had our main course (hokkien mee) first b4 proceeding for escargot n dessert... and over dinner, i was happily merrily telling the 3 guys about Sigmund Freud, having just learnt about him n his psychosexual theory in lecture today. muahahaha. over dessert n escargot, poor yy was getting bullied as usual by the other 2, who kept teasing him abt taking an artistic photo with the painting of a woman on the wall behind him... got some, erm, interesting shots of yy n the painting... haha :P the dessert, brownie with ice cream n apple crumble with ice cream, was decent enough la for the price - $4. OH. i forgot to mention. this place HAS NO GST!!!! hahaha. so yes, very good, i support them. will wanna go back and try their lunch set meal. its like $12.90 nett for a 5 course set lunch, or $8.50 nett for a no frills set lunch, so just mian course drink n salad. which in any case, i think is all very worth it! so, any one wanna date me for lunch at this french restaurant? ~grin~

and the highlight of the day... i got my bday present from zhiyang!!! we were passing thru bugis junction when we came across poh khim having their sale... and some of the series are much cheaper than they would otherwise be... so i was seriously tempted :P and zhiyang picked up on it, and asked if i'd like one for my bday present... and so i chose 十兄弟！因为这部戏有我最喜欢的香港女演员- 郭可盈！而且，在这部戏里，她是跟她的老公演一对夫妇呢！hehe :) just that i feel quite bad for causing zhiyang to part with quite a big sum of $$$.... in any case, THANKS so much ya friend? it was a very nice gesture on your part. (p/s: u dont need to treat me to movie anymore! ok? haha) i think i should treat u to a meal or something after burning such a big hole in your pocket...

oh yes, had very interesting discussions about boys n girls with those 3 guys. wah, super hard to get a proper answer out of gordan lah! learn from me, í was so forthcoming with my answers lor :) so was zhiyang. haha. too bad i didnt get to ask the sheep who he finds pretty in my class, haha! (cannot ask la, later he feels pressurized to list me as one of them, HAHA)

that about wraps up my wednesday night out, hehe. had 2 lectures in school b4 that. was so sleepy during the 2nd lecture, only just managed to keep myself from falling asleep! oh and i know which childcare i'll be attached to for my field practicum on tuesdays mornings already... the childcare is very near my house! yay, can cycle there. haha. :)

on another note... i didnt realise i was so emotionally attached to my bro. it really feels kinda funny to see the bathroom devoid of his cup n toothbrush, his towel etc... and his room empty... ah wells! kor, if you're reading this, just wanna say i miss you! hope u settle down nicely in grand canyon and enjoy yourself! :) must read my blog regularly for updates ok! looking forward to webcamming with you... and oh yes, dont bully aiwei ok! :) ~GRINS~

in my 2nd week of school already, school's nice, went for my first dancesport meeting on tues night, learnt progressive cha cha! which actually i'm quite sure i learnt in rgs. made a new guy friend, the guy i was dancing cha cha with. nice guy, but they're all younger than me, all my xiao didis, haha :P am disappointed though that i'll be missing the dance camp... :( HAIS. cant be helped, i'll be in yunnan then! another time i guess.

ngee ann choir concert this sat night!!! havent found someone to go with me. worst case scenario is i'll go by myself. haha. anyone interested? its 28 apr sat night at nus cultural theatre... tix at $10 i think :) let me know asap k? haha

YAY!!! i'm finally online again. am in school now, this time i'm early for lesson hurhur. so i'm sitting alone on the floor outside the locked classroom. its so ulu here right now, if some kidnapper came n smuggled me away, no one would be any wiser...

anyway, i was internet deprived over the weekend! cos after having my laptop configured to school wireless on fri, i couldnt access internet at home :( GRRR. thats why i came to school early today, to get that problem solved. hopefully all will be fine when i attempt to use internet later at home! anyhow, my weekend was rather packed with activities, so it wasnt too bad being internet deprived. lets see, friday i went for dance at simei studiowu! after a hiatus of almost one week cos of that irritating flu bug i mysteriously contracted on monday night. and which mysteriously leaped from me to my bro. who is flying to grand canyon tomorrow early afternoon, for a loong looooooooong time.... ~hais. am really gonna miss my korkor lor. feel like brawling like a baby. so childish hor, this jialing. :P

saturday, had tuition with jialiang in the morning! my 6th lesson with him. quite satisfying to give him chinese tuition now, compared with last time. then went home, did some stuff, n then had dance at raffles place studiowu from 1-3 pm, showered there, loitered around till like 4pm, then... walked to bugis to buy BLUE PAPER (dont ask me why i capslocked that haha), hung around raffles city, n finally met PECK A HUA n POON POON around 640pm :) they were punctual! hehe. had dinner with them at new york new york (finally got to try out that place... got FREE green apple candy floss! brings out the child in all of us muahahaha). we just sat there n ate n chatted till like... ard 10 pm. time really flew. ambience there's really nice! i resolve to bring wei siong there for lunch on a weekday when he comes back in abt a week's time! :D ~beams~

sunday, had chinese tuition again in the morn, then went to church. had lunch with the girls in a VERY HOT place... then hung ard in church waiting for my parents. they were having their AGM. so fay fay, mp n i went into the auditorium to k poh. but fay n i were playing with pastor allen's cute little son, Asher!!! super cute boy! with a cheeky, heart-melting smile! awwwww..... :) after that was..... *drum roll* *cymbal clash*.... .... family ktv session at the ten dollar club!!! fun fun fun! :) 9 of us there, and we sang from 2 plus till 7 , then had dinner at smith street b4 proceeding to visit grandma :) and grandma was so cute yesterday! so i happily filmed her using my digicam :)

heh. actually i meant to blog on sunday, but in the midst of my post, i was rushed off to my grandma's place, as we usually go visit her on sunday nights. and so i hurriedly shut down my computor, effectively deleting whatever i had written. ah wells! ~shrugs~

anyways, today's the 3rd day of school for me! and actually, today's also the first day of "proper" lessons, in the sense that we were really taught stuff in lectures today, and that today's modules were modules that are directly related to my diploma, which if u still dont know is ECH, otherwise known as Early Childhood Education. it might be too early to say for now, but after 3 days of school, i think i like the school, the pple, and the course of study. so yes, jialing is a happy girl in ngee ann (b4 the project datelines and tests and exams come that is.. muahaha... )

and, as many of you already know, i came down with high fever on tues. everything can be said to have started on monday night though. i was fine the entire day, but suddenly after cell grp had ended n i was just sitting on the floor, i felt very tired. and my head started to pound a little. (which it sometimes does) so i got my dad to come pick me up, and shun4 bian4 dropped hf n mp off too (saving mp her taxi $$$ too i might add! :P ) ok so i reached home, went to bed, and thruout the ard 2 hours that i was lying in bed semi awake, i cld feel that my body was very hot. finally got up from my semi-conscious sleep at 3 am and admitted to myself that i had fever. woke my maid up, she took care of me, applying a cold towel to my forehead at intervals... also took panadol and runny nose medicine... took the same medicine early in the morn, by which time my fever seemed to have subsided.. so i just rested in bed till 10 plus when i got ready to leave the house with my bro. we were gonna meet the smu peeps for k lunch! hehe.

to cut a long story short, i was feeling rather miserable in k box, the kind of cold yet hot kinda feeling, super horrible lah... left earlier at 145 to go to school. forced my miserable self thru a one hour IT and Applications lesson from 3 -4 pm, b4 which i conceded that i HAD to go see doc, n so called my dad to come pick me up from sch after my lesson n bring me go see doc ( i'm like some spoilt brat hor. good thing my dad is like my knight in shiny armour, coming to my rescue at times of need!) and thank God he was on leave that day so he cld come pick me up.

so i went to the doc, and... he took my temp. stuck that thermometer into my left ear. 40.5 degrees. erps. i was like... i dont believe... r u kidding?! so he said ok i take ur right ear also... and the reading was 40.6 degreees this time! well done. he wanted to give me an injection to bring down the fever but becos jialing here is scared of pain (aka injections), of cos i refused la. so he just gave me medicine lor. no antibiotics cos the fever's due to flu. and i was given a 3 days mc, from wed to fri. (ok actually, i requested for it hehe) he told me the fever will prob subside by thurs, and that i'll develop a cough... but GUESS WHAT??? the fever subsided on... THAT VERY NiGHT ITSELF!!! i attribute it to God's Grace, cos of all the prayers that friends said for me :) jialing is touched. jialing thanks all of you! ~big hug~ hehe =)

so, i was well enough to go to school today, for which i was very thankful. hee. hope u guys aint thinking to urself what a weirdo jialing is, can dont go school but choose to go to school. hahahaha. :P but really, if i had missed today's lessons, i would have missed quite a bit... might have resulted in me feeling lost... not a good feeling. heh. and oh, i bought my first textbook today! haha. and signed up for choir and dance sport. and collected my orientation goodie bag. and got to know more of my classmates. and ... volunteered to be class rep for intro to child development (cos no one had volunteered after a while n the teacher was getting impatient :P ) to conclude, i found lessons quite interesting! the lecturers seem very nice, and r quite funny too. :)

ok so that's that about school. on another note, if TOOT WEI WEI should read this, this is a shout out to you to thank you for my (super) belated 20th bday present. love it, bab... er sorry, i mean, auntie ;D didnt have time to thank you b4 u disappeared on msn just now... hope u're having fun in hospital. hehe. and, u really should go get a palm top! gonna miss you auntie... wonder how long till i next see you. hopefully can go uk visit you one day soon... hopefully... u better cook a fantastic meal for me then! haha. :)

did i mention b4 that i love my cell group girls? hmm oh yes, i think i did b4, in a previous entry. so, just to reiterate, i love my cell grp girls!!! =)

did i mention that i love my boy boy? heh, ok not here i think, but really, he helps me in so many many ways, he has made himself -almost- indispensable in my life. *almost becos we are not to rely on Man but on God. :)

and now, let me just mention that i'm thankful for my Dad. tho really, i think i kinda have a love-hate relationship with him at times.

last but not least, i'm thankful for my cell grp leader, becos i can confide things in her that i wouldnt feel as comfortable confiding in others, partly becos she so willingly lets me and many others burden her with our troubles. becos she was such a comfort to me one night not long ago, listening to me confide one of my life's most complicated issues, and giving me sound advice... :)

1) Dunman food centre Eng's wanton mee! my absolute fave... and at a super reasonable price of $2 a packet. but becos its such a steal, its popularity might translate into a long wait. so if i have to queue to buy, i'll make sure i buy at least 5 packets at a go. becos i'll still enjoy it even if i leave it overnight in the fridge. thats how much i love that wanton mee :)

2) western food at kembangan coffee shop! haha. act its cos i want to eat the lamb chop there, which i think is half the price and a bigger serving than v8 cafe at bugis junction. where i had lamp chop tonight at lydia's bday dinner. it was $11.80!!! i should have eaten the chicken wings thingy. 3 full wings plus salad plus fries, at $6.80! save like 5 bucks... and hey, every cent counts.. .whats more this is a whooping 5 bucks! (haha ok i make 5 bucks sound like its 5 hundred or something... ) anyway so since ws doesnt like lamb chop, he can choose others like fish n chip or chicken cutlet :)

3) surf n turf! only during lunch on weekdays though, when its nice n cheap... i miss the steak there... plus after huiqing n hanwei declared that the most reasonable eating place with yummy food, i definitely want to go back there again! and who better to drag there with me than my darling muahahaa

4) noble house ala carte buffet! i cant believe my parents havent brought him there yet, considering how often my family eats there each time there's a function... i wanna go there and feast on salmon sashimi!!! and erm, their sea bass is nice too, as well as the salmon head. and throw in some venison too please...

5)seafood! most prob at jumbo at east coast... cos of that voucher i saw at home... hehe... i cant wait to eat black pepper crab again! and the crabs in these places are huge... huge indian crabs, then can really eat and feel shiok :) one crab per person, ok dear? :)

6) the yakitori at taka basement. haha. cos i havent tried it though i've past by it countless times... since rg days...

7)billy bombers! haha. i just want to go there and order a nice meal and share it with him. actually, jialing is pretty sure jialing can finish an entire meal by herself (cell girls, did u see jialing gobbling down mp's fries and hf's potato wedges plus fang's unfinished mango ice cream cake from swensons?!?! ) but jialing must learn to control, so jialing shall share with her boyboy... hopefully she doesnt eat too much n leave her boy feeling hungry!

8) the donut factory donuts! if we both queue up, that means 48 donuts altogether! give one box of 12 to the cell girls, that leaves at least a dozen for his family, and erm, a dozen each per person? TOO SINFUL!!!! i shall only eat a few. haha.

9)roast duck, some where, i dont know where yet. i'm really not fussy about my food one... i think i wont be able to tell the diff btw $20+ duck and $60+ duck... just to draw a comparison. so erm, i think anywhere will do. but i want to eat roast duck!!!!!

10) chicken rice, also somewhere, anywhere la... i like the rice... shall drench it in black sauce hehe. with a bit of chilli. ~licks lips~ oh actually, a few yummy chicken wings wou;d be fine too :)

11)pizza! saw the oishi pizza promos... but didnt get to take advantage of them. haha. never mind! hopefully there's be some nice pizza buffet somewhere then we can go makan!

12)prata! bring him go try tissue prata at kembangan muahaha :)

14)new zealand icecream... yum yum yippy!

15) pasta... maybe we can go to pasta cafe at taka and try the seafood pasta.. or the lobster one... which someone said was good. ooh...

17)the cakes at holland v gastronomica! we should eat there this time, instead of me bringing them to his house :P

19) maybe we could go try the pariss international buffet... maybe la... cos its not exactly cheap... ok, if too ex, we'll go for the cheaper alternative, the sakura buffet then! :P

the past week has been good :) so good i wish i had more time to play, and that sch wasnt starting so soon... in like a week's time. wonder what school will be like? hmmm... ~muses~

yest, easter sunday:
visited auntie ai ming in sgh, then rushed down to church for service... after which had lunch at crystal jade palace restaurant! cos dear joanna's back from New York. my darling cousin whom i see like... maybe once a year... :) we had a delicious lunch! the roast duck rocks man... i was positively gorging myself on it. ~grin~ after lunch, toured a lil ard city area with her n her bf joseph, courtesy of uncle geok sum and family plus car. heh. then it was tuition with jialiang 4 me at eunos (3rd lessons liaos haha.), after which i went to parkstone as per my weekly custom, to visit my grandma. and also to see uncle tim whilst he's still in spore. he's going back to perth alr! like tmr, i think :(

sat:
bummed at home in the morn, watching phoenix from the ashes... then it was dance from 1 - 3 pm, supposed to be from 1-4 pm, but i decided i was too tired for another lesson muahaha. made a friend, charlene. hehe :) first friend from dance! then roamed ard simei, where i bought some cool stuff in prep for zhiyang's bday... reached his house ard 5 plus with gordan, and laucnhed mission number 2. like mission number 1, it was very successful, tho that boy was pretty alert... BUT i was smarter, hiding further away so his line of vision would not reach me! :D stayed at his place with gordan and yanyeong till eleven plus, when my bro picked me up. hehe. dropped ai wei off at her house in tamp b4 going home... fun day! zhiyang's mum whipped up a feast for us man! and i got to try vodka, peach flavour, mixed with coke n ribena. heh. played bridge!!! my all time fave card game. thanks to sporting yy who went home to get poker cards. hee. oh yes it was my first time meeting yy too... who's joseph's lum classmate haha. took quite a few photos with them all :)

friday, good friday!
erm, right now can only rmmr going for service at night... and the successful cake smashing by meiping muahaha. i'm sure it was memorable for good ole joshua... :P

now i rmmr what i did on fri... cos thurs i went to wei's house in sentosa cove!!!! had a lovely 24 hours with her, from the time we met at abt 1 pm till the next day when she dropped me of at harbourfront... her parents are really nice folks too... and becos of wei, i got to get up close and personal with a 16 kg albino snake. cool stuff huh :P this is definitely one friend i wish i could see more than just one measley time a year when she flies back over the seas and oceans to tiny spore from scotland. toot wei wei ah... i'll miss you when you go off again. sighs.

can only rmmr jazz technique class and new sch hip hop class... got to know jing lin and charlene then.

erm. lets see. tuition with jialiang at night. oh and, went to court with meiping! so interesting. want to watch the whole case play out in court man...

mon:
no cell grp! supposed to go jie fang at the airport, but ended up having crocodile soup treat for dinner from meiping. anyway, she's supposed to save money the upcoming month by eating cheaply... meaning not more than $10 per meal... and not anyhow taking taxi :) met huiqing in the morn to collect pay from robinsons, queued up for donuts! which were given to fang, meiwen n family, and kor, ai wei, bk, sm. hehe. oh yes, got to see fang's niece, a happy happy adorable baby!!! :P

feeling a bit... hmm... i also dont really know what i'm feeling now... a bit in the musing mood... with a tiny tinge of something reminiscient of ... sadness? hee.

last week, at this time, i was having fun singing with lum alex xh at ten dollar club. yest, i was there again with mp sl annie jf. and next sunday, i may be going there with relatives.. .i hope so actually... hope uncle danny can go. and his children. and uncle tim. and meiping n meiwen. i think if really everyone can go, shld b quite fun n interesting... plus it;ll be the first time bringing my mum to k... time my mum had some fun in her life. she's been slogging too hard too long liaos. n having me as a daughter hasnt made things any easier for her. heh.

didnt go down to visit grandma today, cos my mum alr went down this morn... its ching ming today, think they all gathered this morn at parkstone to rmmr auntie foon... but that meant no car for daddy to send me to church as usual, cos mum took the car. so mp sl jf wailing n i took cabs ( didnt manage to persuade the uncle to let the 5 of us squeeze into 1 cab... heh) to church, after the 3 ladies slept over. jf slept the earliest! whilst wailing n shuling happily continued 谈情说爱 after i had turned off the lights... i fell alseep in the midst of listening to their conversation. something abt going to wailing's hse to help her paint... and i pretended to be asleep. hehe. needless to say, those 2 were the last ones awake :P

it was really quite a memorable night yesterday... the ktv outing... then hanging ard at smith street, followed by late night escapade at a lawyer's office... and to round it off, tissue prata supper! yummy! my first time trying it.. always wondered what it was. now i finally know. heh. too bad there was no bridge session... the main reason why shuling came to slp over last min... if they came again another time during my bro's hols, i'm sure we'll all have a hilarious time playing bridge! :)

anyways, yest was also sw's surprise bday thingy at fish n co glasshouse... band pple were supposed to meet there at 630. i replied ys quite late saying i cldnt make it... but by a strange coincidence, i was there at exactly 630... cos i was on my way to chinatown for ktv. went to dhoby ghaut to take free bus to chinatown... but i didnt go to fish n co, cos didnt wanna miss the free shuttle. was walking towards it though when i saw the bus coming, n so hurried back... and somehow... that episode was kinda... hais... i also dont know. i dont know whether i want to see them. tho actually, seeing them all is also no big deal right. but how i feel abt band now compared to in jc... is pretty different. its a different feeling altogether... and sometimes, more often than not, when something is lost its lost forever.

just now, alex came to chat with me on msn. haha. cos i put the pic of the 6 of us at chinatown on my msn n he saw the pic. so he was like, intro chiobus to me! (see ladies, as i was saying, u all are chiobus... heh heh heh :P) then later on in the conversation, when i mentioned that i went to sing ktv with them yest instead of going for sw's bday surprise, his tone on msn sounded quite accusatory... of cos, i dont know how seriously he meant it lah... cos in a way, aint considered very close to him? pple like him in a way, want to say close also not say v close, maybe more like farmiliar... though also not say very farmiliar. arghs. haha. anyways, he made it seem as if i v bad, pangseh sw, and that i dont regard sw as a friend... so i was trying to explain how i feel that whether or not i go wouldnt make a difference to the pple there... and how in that sense, i dont feel a sense of belonging to those pple anymore. yes, there are some pple whom i treasure from there... so in that sense, i do have a sense of belonging to band arising from those pple, but not to the rest. i just dont feel a part of it anymore. any maybe thats the part causing the tinge of sadness. cos if u know me, band has always been a huge part of my life... and at one point of my life, this grp of pple were kinda like super dear to me, tho individually of cos i wasnt close to eveyrone. but its just the overall feeling u get... anyway its all over. all part of the past now.

this sense of belonging thingy, to any group of pple, or clique, is really a very fascinating and remarkable thing. it makes all the difference. to be brutally honest, i didnt really feel attached to the cell previously... i had tried to be... but last year, the period b4 i went into hiding, and once or twice these days... sometimes i feel like a stranger looking in... and i hate this feeling. my cell girls... they r all nice pple... but i cant explain why i just didnt feel comfortable with them b4.. i rmmr myself being mostly v quiet... just listening to others talk... sometimes going for things because of obligation n not really wanting to go.

yet now, inexplicably, i no longer feel that way. i dont know when that feeling vanished. i just know that at this point in my life, they are pple i feel comfortable with, whom i enjoy being with, whom i look forward to seeing. which explains why being with them last night felt so good. to be sure, i think its only quite recently (tho i cant pinpoint when) that i finally felt settled into the cell, so i guess sometimes, once in a while, i might feel out of place... but i just wanna thank God for them :)

wonder how fang's doing in germany? will see her soon! wonder if i should be boh liao n make a plankcard to receive her at the airport on tues night... muahahah

i forgot something else that i wanted to say. abt the taxi driver who sent me , jf n mp to church this morning. but i think i'll blog that another time. :P next post will be more photos! :)
